Growing Older

Thursday, March 17, 2011
A funny thing happened to me this morning. As I was doing my morning chores I felt a strange sensation on the right side of my head. It was like someone hit me with a shovel. For a few moments I thought I was going to pass out. Then I sat down at the table and it just became a dull headache. Cyndi gave me a couple of aspirin. What was it? I don't know. The interesting thing was that in the midst of all sorts of worst-case scenarios flashing through my mind, I thought, "but I have so much music to write yet!".

I attribute what happened was due to stress and losing our home and car. BTW: My little problems are nothing compared to what is going on in Japan at the moment. And that is a "blatant plug" for giving to the Red Cross.

I have started a new album series to be released in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know when It comes out.
It's music to help take you to a place in your heart so that you can commune easily with your Creator. Background music to pray, meditate or (what is becoming a popular term) soaking. Basically it's my recorded musical conversations with God. I call it "The Prayer Closet Vol 1" because I plan to release quite a few. All pieces are improvised (much like my prayers can be) and some are rather lengthy. This music is what I'd like to leave behind and be remembered for.
May God bless each and everyone of you who takes the time to read these random thoughts of mine. ~Richard
