In the last year my wife and I went through bankruptcy and on this February 8th our house will be auctioned off on the courthouse steps of Heber City. Leaving Los Angeles to live in one of the most beautiful areas of the world has not been easy on us.

But let me say that I choose to bloom where I was planted. It has been one of the hardest yet fulfilling times in my life to date. When the rug gets pulled out from under you there is a choice you can make. To either crawl under the covers or ask God, "what are you trying to teach me through all this?".

There is a verse in the Bible that says, "before honor comes humility".

Before I moved here, if someone said to me the word "busking", I would have not known what they meant. Singing in bars and restaurants? Teaching little children piano? Be a music director at a new church?...NEVER!

God said, "oh yeah?".

You know what?. Soon as I started doing them I learned so much and drew closer to God than ever before and I quickly grew to love it. I do not know what is next, BUT I know who holds my future.~Richard
